A very special pleasure hike for you!
From the Schafflerhof farm above Saltaus/Saltusio, you'll take the scenic Merano High Mountain Trail to the Schupferhof farm cheese dairy. During a guided tour, you will learn everything about the production and origin of the farm's own cheeses. After the tour, you can put your senses to the test and taste the different types of cheese. After the tasting, you will walk back to St. Martin/S. Martino.

Walking time: approx. 3.5 h | Difference in altitude: approx. 250 m in ascendance and 700 m in descendance

Choose an eco-friendly journey by public transport (bus line 239, 240 or 241) - bus stop "St. Martin, Schwimmbad/S. Martino, piscina" or "Saltaus/Saltusio".
