Ski Tours in the Passeiertal Valley

A ski mountaineering paradise in Passeiertal Valley

Ski touring special: the Passeiertal Valley offers a complex network for ski touring. This unique experience on the snows of South Tyrol should not be missed!

The Passeiertal Valley  is a true ski touring haven. The major hiking routes lie on the southern side of the border with Austria, flanked by the Texelgruppe Nature Park, the Sarntal and Stubaital Alps. Throughout its length, the Passeiertal Valley is ideal for mountain hiking, both in summer and in winter. The white season offers countless itineraries on foot, as well as on skis and climbing skins. With its 3,000-meter summits, this white-covered wonder world offers a host of truly memorable experiences.

Beyond the village of Moos/Moso, the Timmelsbrücke bridge is one of the best starting points for a variety of trips into the Passeiertal Valley. This is the starting point for ascents to summits such as the Botzer, the Banker Joch, the Gürtelwand and the Hoffmannspitze. Other challenging climbs are those to the Kolbenspitze and the Alpenspitze peaks. The approximately 3-hour climb to Röthen Spitze peak is also very popular.

The experienced Passeiertal Valley mountain guides conduct guided tours throughout winter to the high meadows and breath-taking summits of the Texelgruppe Nature Park. Visitors not only learn more about the mountains but also have a chance to test their skills and abilities. Under such expert guidance, winter mountaineering becomes a safe and unforgettable experience both for experts and beginners.
