Transport Service for private bikes to-and-from the Merano railway station and Malles

The Bike Shuttle takes private bikes to any railway station in the Venosta valley while cyclists travel up the valley in ease and comfort on the Venosta valley train.
Bikes can be collected from the bike rental offices at any of the following railway stations along the Venosta valley – Naturno, Laces, Silandro, Spondigna or Malles.

On Saturdays and Sundays it is necessary to make a reservation for the bike transport at least 24 hours before the scheduled start by calling +39 0473 201500 (8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) or by sending an e-mail to info@suedtirol-rad.com.

This Transport Service for private bikes runs four times a day from Merano up to Malles:
from the end of April to the end of October

Mornings: 09.16 / 10.16
Afternoons: 15.16 / 16.16

Day tickets are available from the station ticket offices.
Important! The Venosta train can only carry a certain number of bikes at a time so please be aware that your bike may not be able to travel with you at peak hours!

Please note:
It is not possible to put your bikes on the train at the Merano, Marlengo and Lagundo railway stations between 09.00 - 13.00 and 15.00 - 17.30

Genusswandern in Marling! 🌿🥾

Ausgangspunkt ist der Marlinger Bahnhof🚉. Von dort geht's über den Untersteiner Steig hinauf zum Marlinger Waalweg – mit herrlichem Blick über das Etschtal!💧🌿Über den Waalweg in Richtung Lana bis zur nächsten Abzweigung und über Weg Nr. 35 Richtung Marlinger Höhenweg bis zum Gasthaus Senn am Egg. 🍽️Den Höhenweg weiter in Richtung Süden, bis zur Abzweigung Gasthaus Tschigg. 🥘Von dort über Weg Nr. 32, vorbei am Gasthaus und weiter über Weg Nr. 33 bis hinunter zum Hof Halbweg. Weiter über die asphaltierte Straße Richtung Jausenstation Hoferhof und über den Weg Nr. 33 B hinab zum Marlinger Waalweg.🚶
Über den Waalweg in Richtung Töll wieder zurück ins Ortszentrum bzw. zum Bahnhof Marling🏡.

Immer wieder laden gemütliche Gasthäuser unterwegs zum Verweilen ein – ideal für eine genussvolle Pause und eine Stärkung zwischendurch. 🍽️🌞

Visita guidata nel bunker sul sentiero della roggia di Marlengo! 🧐🌿

Dopo il 1945, molti bunker rimasero operativi durante la Guerra Fredda fino alla loro dismissione negli anni '90 e il successivo trasferimento alla Provincia di Alto Adige. Alcune di queste strutture difensive sono di grande importanza storica e offrono oggi uno sguardo unico sulla loro architettura.

Il bunker sulla Tel è stato acquisito dai comuni di Lagundo e Marlengo ed è ora accessibile per visite guidate.

🚗 Parcheggi disponibili presso la stazione di Tel
🚶‍♂️ Circa 10 minuti a piedi fino all’ingresso del sentiero della roggia di Marlengo + altri 5 minuti fino al bunker
