Auch heuer leuchten am Sonntagabend wieder die traditionellen Herz-Jesu-Feuer über ganz Südtirol – so auch hoch oben am Marlinger Berg.⛰🕯
Dieser Südtiroler Brauch soll die tiefe Verbundenheit mit der Heimat symbolisieren. Als Motiv für das Feuer wird unter anderem das Christusmonogramm gewählt.

Ein besonderer Anblick, der jedes Jahr aufs Neue die Tradition lebendig hält.

The Tradition of "Herz Jesu Sonntag" - the Celebration of the Heart of Jesus on Marling mountain 🔥

On Sunday evening, the annual Sacred Heart of Jesus bonfires are lit throughout South Tyrol, including on the "Marlinger Berg". This South Tyrolean custom is intended to symbolise the deep bond with the homeland. The Christ monogram is chosen as the motif for the fire.🎇

Originally built in 1924 as a storage site for timber harvested, the farm gradually evolved over generations into a refined fruit and wine-growing estate. Since 1995, it has been managed strictly according to Bioland-certified organic principles – with great care for nature and everything it offers. 🌱

🍷 A Childhood Dream Comes True
Jakob Gamper, today’s winemaker, knew his path early on: at just eight years old, he proudly declared that he wanted to become a “cellar master”. After completing his studies in viticulture and oenology and gaining valuable experience in renowned wineries, Jakob was finally able to turn his dream into reality.
In 2015, his first vintage was bottled – true to the motto: from vine to glass.
